Choose How We Work With You

Three engagement tiers. One pricing model. Pick the way of working that fits your team and switch at any time.

Compare Tiers

APT Security Management offers three engagement tiers that determine how we communicate, how often we report, and how integrated we become with your team. The tier you pick is separate from the services you buy. Every tier supports every APT service, from penetration testing to managed detection and response. This page explains the differences and helps you pick the right one.

EXPERIENCE = MANAGED SECURITY SERVICE + ENGAGEMENT MODEL

Most security providers force you into one operating model. We do not. Your experience with APT is built from two pieces: the security service you need (the work we do) and the engagement model you choose (how we communicate, report, and coordinate with your team). Pick both independently. Adjust either one as your needs change.

Choose Your Engagement Model

Every APT client picks one of three tiers at kickoff. You can change tiers at any token renewal, or earlier on request.

Token overhead refers to the engagement model itself, not the underlying security service. Pen testing, MDR, and compliance work cost the same in tokens regardless of tier. The tier adds the meeting cadence, reporting depth, and integration work on top.

ravenWing In Detail

ravenWing is built for small businesses that want professional security oversight without building an internal team. Communication is by email. Reports are delivered on a schedule we agree on at kickoff. Onboarding is fast and the operating overhead is low. This is the right tier if you want APT to handle security in the background while you run your business.

Best For

Small businesses with under 50 employees

Single-location retailers and service businesses

Organizations with no internal security or IT staff

Buyers who prefer to receive reports rather than meet about them

Not A Good Fit If

You want regular live meetings with our team

You require role-specific reporting for multiple stakeholders

You need real-time portal access to security data

What's Included

Email-based ticketing and support during business hours

Scheduled monthly or quarterly reports, depending on services purchased

Standard executive summary format

Onboarding completed in days, not weeks

ravenGuard In Detail

ravenGuard adds a secure client portal, role-specific reporting for technical and non-technical staff, and recurring scheduled meetings. This is the standard tier for growing organizations that need active visibility into their security posture and want APT plugged into their decision-making.

Best For

Growing companies, typically 50 to 250 employees

Tech startups in or approaching their first compliance audit

Organizations with dedicated IT staff but no internal security lead

Buyers who want recurring strategic conversations, not just reports

Not A Good Fit If

Email-based reporting is sufficient (consider ravenWing)

What's Included

Role-specific reports for executives, technical staff, and finance

Scheduled status meetings on a cadence you set

Onboarding completed in one to two weeks

Faster response times than ravenWing

ravenSentinel In Detail

Companies operating under multiple compliance frameworks simultaneously

Buyers who want APT acting as a virtual extension of their team

Not A Good Fit If

Your scope and budget would be better served by ravenWing or ravenGuard

You do not have internal staff to receive and act on continuous strategic input

What's Included

Custom dashboards integrated with your ticketing, SIEM, or asset systems

Quarterly strategy and planning sessions

Direct coordination with your IT and security teams

Ad-hoc meetings as needed, in addition to scheduled ones

Onboarding completed in three weeks or longer, depending on integration scope

Reporting Built for Different Roles

Different people in your company need different security information. A CFO does not need vulnerability scan output. A security analyst does not need a quarterly board summary. ravenGuard and ravenSentinel both include role-specific reporting so each stakeholder gets the data they actually need to make decisions.

Executive Summary

A short, plain-language report covering posture, risks, and recommended actions. Built for board members, owners, and senior leadership.

Technical Detail Report

Full findings, evidence, severity ranking, and remediation guidance. Built for IT staff, security analysts, and engineering teams.

Financial and Compliance Summary

Risk exposure framed in business terms, audit-relevant data, and budget impact. Built for finance leaders and compliance officers.

ravenWing clients receive the executive summary format by default. ravenGuard and ravenSentinel clients receive all three, customized at kickoff.

How We Support Different Organizations

The right tier often correlates with the kind of organization you run. These are the patterns we see most often.

Healthcare

Hospitals, clinics, and health networks operate under strict HIPAA requirements and carry data that makes them a constant target. APT provides continuous monitoring, endpoint protection, and compliance documentation so your security posture keeps pace with your regulatory obligations.

Manufacturing

Modern manufacturing environments mix IT and operational technology on the same network, and most security vendors are built for one or the other. APT bridges that gap with services that cover both your corporate systems and your plant floor.

Financial Services

Banks, credit unions, and financial firms face strict audit requirements and sophisticated threats. APT delivers penetration testing, vulnerability management, and audit-ready reporting aligned to PCI-DSS, SOC 2, and related frameworks.

SaaS Startups

We integrate into your existing ticketing and development workflows and provide custom dashboards that give your engineers real-time security context. APT acts as an extension of your team, not a separate vendor.

Can I Change Tiers Later?

Yes. Most clients start at ravenWing or ravenGuard and move up as their needs grow. There is no contractual lock-in to a tier. We adjust your engagement model at any token renewal, or earlier on request. Your active token balance carries over.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to pick a tier on day one?

Yes. The engagement tier shapes onboarding, so we set it at kickoff. If you are unsure, we will recommend one based on your environment and you can change it later.

Can I mix tiers across different services?

No. The tier applies to your overall engagement, not to individual services. Every service you buy is delivered through the tier you have selected.

Does the tier change what services I have access to?

No. Every APT service is available at every tier. The tier changes how we communicate, report, and coordinate, not what we can do for you.

How do I know which tier fits my company?

Use the comparison table above as a starting point. If you want a recommendation, book a free consultation and we will suggest one after a 30-minute scoping call.

Can I downgrade tiers if my needs shrink?

Yes. Downgrades happen at any token renewal or sooner on request. We will close out any tier-specific deliverables before the change takes effect.
