Choose How We Work With You
Three engagement tiers. One pricing model. Pick the way of working that fits your team and switch at any time.
APT Security Management offers three engagement tiers that determine how we communicate, how often we report, and how integrated we become with your team. The tier you pick is separate from the services you buy. Every tier supports every APT service, from penetration testing to managed detection and response. This page explains the differences and helps you pick the right one.
Most security providers force you into one operating model. We do not. Your experience with APT is built from two pieces: the security service you need (the work we do) and the engagement model you choose (how we communicate, report, and coordinate with your team). Pick both independently. Adjust either one as your needs change.
Choose Your Engagement Model
Every APT client picks one of three tiers at kickoff. You can change tiers at any token renewal, or earlier on request.
ravenWing
Best for organizations that want security managed in the background with minimal overhead
ravenGuard
Best for growing teams that need active security visibility without building out an internal practice
ravenSentinel
Best for enterprises that need a deeply integrated, strategic security partner
Compare Tiers Side by Side
| Features | ravenWing | ravenGuard | ravenSentinel |
|---|---|---|---|
| Best For | Small businesses | Growing teams | Enterprise |
| Primary Communication Channel | Client portal | Custom integration | |
| Reporting Cadence | Scheduled | On-demand + scheduled | Continuous + custom |
| Status Meetings | None | Recurring | Recurring + ad-hoc |
| Reporting Style | Standard format | Role-specific | Custom dashboards |
| Strategy Planning Sessions | Not included | Not included | Included |
| Direct IT Team Coordination | No | Limited | Full |
| Onboarding Time | Fast | Standard | Extended |
| Token Usage | Lowest overhead | Moderate overhead | Highest overhead |
Token overhead refers to the engagement model itself, not the underlying security service. Pen testing, MDR, and compliance work cost the same in tokens regardless of tier. The tier adds the meeting cadence, reporting depth, and integration work on top.
ravenWing In Detail
ravenWing is built for small businesses that want professional security oversight without building an internal team. Communication is by email. Reports are delivered on a schedule we agree on at kickoff. Onboarding is fast and the operating overhead is low. This is the right tier if you want APT to handle security in the background while you run your business.

Reporting Built for Different Roles
Different people in your company need different security information. A CFO does not need vulnerability scan output. A security analyst does not need a quarterly board summary. ravenGuard and ravenSentinel both include role-specific reporting so each stakeholder gets the data they actually need to make decisions.
Executive Summary
A short, plain-language report covering posture, risks, and recommended actions. Built for board members, owners, and senior leadership.
Technical Detail Report
Full findings, evidence, severity ranking, and remediation guidance. Built for IT staff, security analysts, and engineering teams.
Financial and Compliance Summary
ravenWing clients receive the executive summary format by default. ravenGuard and ravenSentinel clients receive all three, customized at kickoff.
How We Support Different Organizations
The right tier often correlates with the kind of organization you run. These are the patterns we see most often.
Healthcare
Hospitals, clinics, and health networks operate under strict HIPAA requirements and carry data that makes them a constant target. APT provides continuous monitoring, endpoint protection, and compliance documentation so your security posture keeps pace with your regulatory obligations.
Manufacturing
Modern manufacturing environments mix IT and operational technology on the same network, and most security vendors are built for one or the other. APT bridges that gap with services that cover both your corporate systems and your plant floor.
Financial Services
Banks, credit unions, and financial firms face strict audit requirements and sophisticated threats. APT delivers penetration testing, vulnerability management, and audit-ready reporting aligned to PCI-DSS, SOC 2, and related frameworks.
SaaS Startups
We integrate into your existing ticketing and development workflows and provide custom dashboards that give your engineers real-time security context. APT acts as an extension of your team, not a separate vendor.
Can I Change Tiers Later?
Yes. Most clients start at ravenWing or ravenGuard and move up as their needs grow. There is no contractual lock-in to a tier. We adjust your engagement model at any token renewal, or earlier on request. Your active token balance carries over.
